My Life on the Road

From an early age I knew that I would spend part of my life traveling.

I did not expect to make my life one of constant motion, but I knew that there was a sense of understanding to be gained from traveling, and that you had to put yourself out there in order to find it. The only way to really know your self and life is to experience it first hand.

I also knew that one day I would leave the road and settle down. I had no desire to remain forever rootless and wandering, but I noticed at an early age that a lot of older people spent their time ruing what 'might have been'. I promised myself that I would not sit around when I was older wondering what things could have been like if only I'd followed my heart.
